RR Saddle Club Mission Statement:
RR Saddle Club is committed to public education about horses, through rides, camps, and any available media.
Our goal is to provide a place to ride for the horse loving community - whether they are able to own a horse or not.
Your contributions, by the way of signing up for trail rides, campouts, and other fundraisers will help low income kids, foster children and adults with the dream of being able to ride and be with horses. We hope to rescue horses from abusive and neglectful situations when funding allows.
We are in the process of trying to raise the funds to care for the horses and to help low income kids and adults, foster kids, come and ride and learn about horses. We are not a proper 501 c yet, as it does take about $600 to file for a chapter 501 c. and we just started about 2 months ago. Please help us spread the word, we have miles of scenic trails to come ride, and we hope to open a small horse campround soon with a few corrals. To fundraise to care for the horses and get our 501 c status, we are having a First Annual RR Saddle Club Horse Campout. We will be raffling off many great prizes, gift certificates to Bath and Body Works, an online horse tack shop, a nice multitool and many other great deals. For more information, please visit our Campout webpage. RSVP required by 10 Sept 2009
A portion of all guided rides will also go towards this cause.
To all of the equestrian community, thank you for your donations!
